“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”  Jer 29:13

-   JOSHUA'S MEN   -

Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them.  Be strong and very courageous.  Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go .    Joshua 1:6-9

Joshua’s Men is an intensive personal spiritual journey designed to answer the question: “who is the man in the mirror?” This program requires a high degree of commitment where men gather to learn, develop strong relationships, and grow in the Lord.  The results of dedication to this journey are nothing short of miraculous.  Men blossom, families grow closer and stronger, and the church benefits from the development of many strong spiritual leaders.

The question is - Why do I want to do this?

Before we go into the specifics of what Joshua's Men is all about, you have to search your own heart to answer the question; why do I want to do this?  The answer from many that have gone before you is this:  I want more!   I want more of a loving, living God in my life.   Make no mistake; this is a journey of the heart.  God asks us to open our hearts to Him.  Jeremiah 29:13 says "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."   He is true to His word.   That’s the key to Joshua's Men.   A group of guys coming together seeking Him with all of our hearts and He is found in ways we could never have imagined.  The bond that is formed with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and with our Joshua's Men brothers is truly life-changing.  So if you want more and you want to be around men who want the same, then Joshua's Men is for you.

Are any of these true in your life right now – are you ready to seek the Lord and be serious about change?

  • My marriage is lifeless; my wife and I are roommates.

  • I am hiding from God and I  have no true friends.

  • I know God but I want a deeper relationship with Him.

  • God can’t use me; I’ve messed up too many times.

  • I am addicted (e.g., porn; power; money; alcohol).

If so, come and taste the good things the Lord has in store for you!

High Calling—From The High King

Joshua’s Men requires a high degree of commitment and is designed to replace your false self-image with a true image of how God sees you, so that you may stand to the full height of your glory before the King – by standing face to face with the King of Glory you will discover the true smallness of your greatness.

First Year -  At a Glance

Focused on spiritual growth, there are two retreats; one kickoff retreat in January, and one midyear retreat in August.  A meeting with the wives (or significant other) is held in January to present the details of Joshua’s Men and inform them of what to expect during the journey.

Monthly meetings are held at the homes of the current Joshua’s Men to discuss the monthly topic.  If it is your month to host the meeting in your home, you will also provide the meal.

Within your group you will  be paired with a prayer partner and you will meet together 1-4 times a month as scheduled by the prayer partner team.  Through this journey you will learn to

  • Reject Passivity

  • Lead Courageously

  • Expect a greater reward – God’s Reward

  • Submit to God’s authority

  • Be a servant leader – In the home, church, and community

  • Be a man of integrity – In the home, church, and community

  • Live with humility – All things are from God’s hand

You will also be expected to
